I also came across another problem: Trying to sell my space fuel for as expensive as possible, I bought about 7 discoverer haulers 1 at a time, making them trade my space fuel to the stations directly for 1252. Am I doing something wrong? Is the x3 economy not complex enough to meet changes like that? This does not make sense and I should be able to sell my Space Fuel for a higher price than 727 meeting the demand effectively. Meanwhile the herrons nebula space fuel distillery was selling at 1000+ and was still selling units to smugglers. Is it just me or is there something wrong to the logic of this? I should be able to balance the demand with an increase in price. I set my price back to 727 and it flooded with smugglers again. I tried it and NOT ONE smuggler came once again. So I thought that if i balance it out to about 800-850, I should still get a decent amount of smugglers. The trade lanes to my Space Fuel station FLOODED with smuggler moving to and from. So I tested setting my stations price to 727 (1 less than average). Not a single smuggler came to my station even though it was the cheapest price in the region. The ONLY competition close me were selling for 1000+. Heres the problem: I set my price to 950, average price being 728. So this was my plan: If I "buy out" the Herrons Nebula station, their prices would always be high (1000+ per unit) which means that i can sell my own Space Fuel for around 950 per unit comfortably making huge profit as the demand should balance out the price. My only competition was the Space Fuel Distillery in Herrons Nebula. I bought a Space Fuel Distillery and planted it in The Hole sector. I have a question regarding economy and stations.
